We believe in the next generation

Riot Student Ministries is a core element of who we are at New Life Church. Designed for middle school and high school students, we've created a place where they can learn and grow into who God has made them to be.

Our standard

Two scriptures our the guiding principles we believe every student should graduate knowing and practicing:

Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’
— Matthew 28:18-20
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.’
— Matthew 22:36-40

Never the Same (NTS) Camp exists to spark life-changing spiritual transformation in the lives of middle and high school students. While at NTS Camp, students have the opportunity to participate in powerful worship, informative and challenging chatrooms, time alone with God, and small groups that will draw them closer to their peers, their leaders, and God. Aside from the intense spiritual experience, students are able to participate in team competitions throughout the week where they can support their team and face challenges in hope to win the NTS Cup. Camp happens every summer usually in July.

Small Groups

Investing in student’s lives and pouring into them is an essential part of their development as Christians. These investments over time, while not immediate, will always have a lasting return in their future. Growth in community is essential to the spiritual life of students. We pray students are able to take ownership of their faith and take the gospel of Jesus Christ into their world by:

  1. Being in Community
  2. Reading the Bible
  3. Experiencing God on a daily basis
