Join us for the 2024 NewLife 5K Prayer Walk. We are raising money and supporting the organization – Poiema Movement in Waldorf Md. This event, open to all, aims to raise money to help women find restoration through the Christ-centered efforts of Poiema.
Poiema helps women who have been affected by substance use, criminal history, intimate partner abuse, sexual trauma, homelessness or other crises to experience healing, hope, and transformation. Your participation directly supports their journey from brokenness to restoration.
Each registered participant will receive:

The event will begin in the sanctuary with communal prayer and insights from Tiffany Barber, the director of Poiema. We’ll conclude with a joyful celebration and raffle prize announcements.

Hope Giver: $100 – Your gift provides a Poiema resident with essential transportation for two months, ensuring she can access crucial resources, attend work, and make vital appointments without barriers.
Restoration Advocate: $200 – Your generosity empowers one Poiema resident with an entire year’s curriculum, equipping her with the tools and knowledge needed to rebuild her life with resilience and determination.
Empowerment Partner: $300 – Your donation fosters three months of weekly individualized support offering one Poiema resident the guidance necessary to navigate her path to restoration.
Transformative Sponsor: $500 – Your contribution ignites one week of transformative program experiences, offering one Poiema resident the opportunity to break free from cycles of abuse and step into a future filled with hope and possibility.
Restoration Champion: $1000 and above – As a champion for change, your visionary support breaks the chains of generational trauma, enabling us to expand our impact, innovate our programs, and empower more women and children to reclaim their lives with dignity and purpose.
